Password Protect Crystal Reports

Administrators can set Logicity Professional to require a user to enter a valid password before a Crystal Report can be executed. 

1. Open the solution with Logicity Solution Builder.

2. Click the SET PASSWORD button. This opens a “Password Entry” screen.

3. Enter a password. Click the OK button.

   NOTE: The password entered here will be used to protect your solution file. Make sure you do not lose this password, as it cannot be recovered.

4. Click the SAVE button.

NOTE: In addition to password protecting the RRD file, the RRD file is also encrypted in order to hide the credentials.
