date variable formatting - 2008/03/06 17:33 I am using this software to export a file daily to pdf. I am archiving the old files, and would like to be able to sort them according to the date in the filename rather than the file system date. For that I need the following format: YYYYMMDD. However, the Current Date variable shows up like: 3-4-2008.

I tried hardcoding the year, then putting in Current Month Number and Current Day number, but then I get the following: 200834. How do I get 2-digit month and day numbers in the variable?

Thank you

Re:date variable formatting - 2008/03/07 10:15 In the current version of Logicity, there are not currently variables for the 2-digit month and day, but we will put this on our list to add. New variables to be added will be:

- Current Year
- Current Month Number (Leading Zero)
- Current Day Number (Leading Zero)

Our developers are currently on a 2 week lead time so I'd expect to see a new release with this functionality by the end of March. As a workaround until then, maybe you could manually pad the zero into the format.

Re:date variable formatting - 2008/03/07 12:38 I will do that, and also check back in a few weeks for the update.

Thank you for the quick reply!

Re:date variable formatting - 2008/03/09 21:01 Holly,

Just a heads up - we are uploading 1.5.0013 right now with the new variables mentioned above. Thanks for the feedback!

Take care,
Adam
