 Blank reports don't copy to a folder or email - 2008/03/07 09:49 We scheduled several copies of the same report, each with a named client in the selection criteria, and found that those producing output would email out but empty reports did not.

We then tested the same reports writing to a folder and the same thing happened, no data - no output.

This is a useful little 'feature' for us as it saves sending blank reports to users.

Is it a bug or a feature?

 Re:Blank reports don't copy to a folder or email - 2008/05/15 15:15 is there a way to turn that feature off? The recipients of our reports get a bit nervous if they don't get anything two days in a row. I'd rather print the report with no data than not send anything.

Maybe a field containing the company address, as long as no matter the selection criteria the field will still populate that way the report has data.
