What is a Logicity Solution?

Users can set-up "solutions" (report runtime definition files) to specify the pre-defined actions to perform on specific reports. An unlimited number of reports can be defined in a single Solution, with any mix of supported actions you wish to use. 

Solution Builder

• E-mail - Takes a given report file and distributes an exported version of it to a list of e-mail recipients you specify in the format you specify.
• Printing - Sends the report file to either the printer specified on the report, default system printer, or a printer you specify in the RRD file.
• Save - Saves an exported copy of the report to a location on your network with the file name you specify in the format you specify. Variables can be used in the filename to create dynamic names.
• View - Displays the specified report in the Logicity Crystal Reports viewer.

Users can even define variables while setting up the solution file.

The RRD file is created & edited using the built-in Logicity Solution Builder.
