Question: Why does my page size, fonts, or margins look different from the computer where I designed a Crystal Report than workstations where I run the report with Logicity?

Answer: When Crystal Reports renders a report to your screen, it does so
approximating the fonts and page size information against printers that
you have installed on the system from which you are viewing. The
process first looks for a printer named identically to the printer that
was available when the report was designed and, if this is unavailable,
it will use your default printer. When using large format or
non-standard page sizes, this can pose a problem when the developer has
a printer installed on their workstation that is not available on the
workstations of other users intended to use this report. The following
remedies are available:

- Install the same printer with the large format or non-standard paper
sizes on the workstations of your users. It does not need to be the
default printer, but it needs to be named identical to the developer
workstation.

- Install a PDF printer that supports the format you need named
identically on each workstation. Specify this printer in your Crystal
Report. For a good, free PDF printer try PDFCreator:
