We recently purchased a number of licenses for Logicity 1.8 pro and I am having issues with registering the product on each computer. The registration information appears to be attached to the user instead of the computer? So if I install the program and register it under say an admin account every user has to reregister it once when they login which is a bit of a pain.

Is there anyway to register so that its persistent across user accounts on one computer?

Thanks...

Yep! Now this does assume some advanced IT experience (involves the registry) so user beware.

The Logicity Registration is stored in HKCU > Software > SaberLogic > Logicity

You should be able to see the registration information there. Now you could use a login script to automatically merge that registry information into HKCU, or we also look for that information using the same hive structure in HKLM.

Thanks!

I duplicated all the string keys in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/SaberLogic/Logicity into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/SaberLogic/Logicity

However, if I login with another user Logicity is still not registered? From you explanation this should have worked or is there something I am missing?

Thanks...

Delete the HKCU key, it looks there first.

Are you seeing it unregistered in Logicity or just the Logicity Registration utility? The utility will likely still see it as unregistered, but Logicity itself will read the HKLM key.

I have removed HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/SaberLogic/Logicity from the registry and kept HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/SaberLogic/Logicity intact

However, when I open Logicity it's still unregistered in both Logicity and the Registration Utility
