I want to export a report to a tab separated file, but only get garbage. It seems the only exports that work properly are PDF, XLS and RTF. HTML won't create at all and the rest of the types produce garbage. Is this something that is a known bug and if so, when do you anticipate having resolution for it?

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried to check the output from Logicity export against the output if you exported it directly from Crystal? Crystal can be very finicky regarding the format of export reports and it doesn't take much to throw them off. If you could try that out and let me know if the output varies between Crystal and Logicity that would help me out.

Also, what version of Logicity are you experiencing this with?
And what version of Crystal Report is this?

Thanks!
Brian

Hi Brian,
I can export to all export types directly from Crystal without a problem. I am using Crystal XI, Developers Version along with Logicity ver 1.5.2789.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

I believe that is a known bug in the older version of Logicity. Please uninstall the version you have installed now, download the latest version, and reinstall.

That should fix the problem you are having.

Thanks!

Thank you Brian, that was the ticket. It exports fine with the newer version.
