I'm trying to schedule a report with Logicity 1.7.13 using a Crystal Report XI. If I put anything into the database tab for specifying the username/password the run fails. If I leave it blank, I get prompted, and can manually put in the credentials and the report runs. What am i missing to get Logicity to automatically authenitcate to Mas90? I use the Sage ProvideX ODBC connector to get database connectivity.

Any help is appreciated!

Mike

Hi,
The way around this is that you need to create an ODBC "silent" connection to MAS. You create a new User or System Data source. Use the MAS90 driver. Once it is created, copy ALL the settings on each tab from the "standard" MAS connection to the new one. There are two changes. On Options tab check the silent mode check box. On the log in tab enter your MAS login info. You will need to update your report to use the new data source. It will then run without any problem
