Hi all,

We are in the process of moving users away from crystal 2008 and onto logicity but are having difficulties with the viewer which means we have had to put the project on hold

Crystal 2008 used to have multiple reports in tabbed format and only use one database connection but crystal logicity does not seem to do that

Sadly our ERP system takes it's licensing from the amount of database connections and because users have multiple logicity viewers open they can have up to 6 active database connections meaning users cannot login to ERP

We have tried to work around this by having a script run on the server that kills idle connections from logicity desktop but when the user clicks refresh, the viewer does not attempt to reconnect to the session and instead returns the error

Failed to retrieve data from the database. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 3114

We had hoped logicity would attempt to reconnect and prompt the user for login credentials again but this is not the case

Can anyone help so we can finally move away from crystal 2008?
