I have a Crystal Report I am trying to run in Logicity. When I attempt to Refresh the report, I receive a Failed to retrieve data from database error, citing database vendor code 3010. The report works perfectly within Crystal Reports 2008. Any toughts would be helpful!

Hi,

Are you running Crystal and Logicity on the same computer? If so did you make sure to uncheck the runtime when installing? If Crystal is on a different computer then are you sure your ODBC connection is setup with the exact same dsn name?

Thanks!!
Matt

I had the Free Crystal Reports Viewer installed, but not the full version of Crystal. I did not uncheck the box next to runtime.
I have verified that the ODBC name is the same.

This might be because you have not installed the complete version.
