Hi all!

When trying to load a Crystal Report via the Logicity Free Viewer the report does not load at all. Nothing. What I have noted is that the Crystal report is calling an SQL stored procedure. Could this be the reason why the report isn't loading?
I am attaching the report.

Are you creating a Logicity Solution file, if so what action are you picking? What happens if you just double click the .rpt file and open using Logicity Desktop? Have you tried running reports that do not use stored procedures?

Thanks for your reply. The report was created with Crystal 6. When I try opening it via Logicity Desktop nothing happens. We have tried opening Crystal reports which do not have stored procedures and they all loaded successfully. Very strange issue. Any ideas?

Can you test out this version of the report. I saved your report in Crystal 11, which may fix the problem.

I know I'm being a hypocrite because I hate when people do this, but:

"I'm having the same problem!" :nag:

I write most of the reports with CR 8.5 dev. My colleague uses v9 but there's not much in it. He created a report that looked at a bunch of stored procedures.
This report does not open in Logicity 1.6.0029 (latest build).
No errors, nothing. Logicity just closes before it even begins to load the report.
The only thing I can think to do is replace the procedures with subreports and shared variables, but I don't think that possible with memo-type data.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, know how to fix it?
