I just installed ver 1.6.3021.30666 When I try to access the help contents I get an 'unhandled exception' looks like a issing file - I tried re-installing with no success. Otherwise the program runs GREAT!

I atached the error details

Thanks,
Cyberguys

Could you check to see whether you have Adobe Acrobat installed? You'd get an error like what you attached if it wasn't installed.

Yes - Adobe 8 reader is installed - I also installed the program onto another system and got the same error.

PC1 = xp pro, CR XI, SQL 2005 express, adobe 8
PC2 = ms 2003, SQL 2005 Express, adobe 8

Thanks for your help debugging this. I am able to repeat the error and am working on a new installer with a fix now.

Try downloading the new version of Logicity 1.6.0004 and this will fix the problem.

Thanks!

I installed the new version ( had to unisnstall the old one first ). Help seems to work OK now - HOWEVER - on the old version I was able to use %CURRENT_DATE%.pdf for the file name when saving a report and it would use the variable in the name - now it doesn't use the variable - the file is saved as %CURRENT_DATE%.pdf

Thanks,
Cyberguys

Are you getting that error when you attempt to view the Help in Solution Builder or is this related to the %CURRENT_DATE% variable? For the %CURRENT_DATE% variable, you will need to have a Logicity Pro key installed for that to function. We had an older release out there where that was mistakenly enabled in the free version.

Yes, when I click "Contents" under the Help menu with our without an RDD loaded. Nothing to do with variable substitution.

This happens on 1.6.3021.30666 (Vista SP1 and XP SP2) and 1.6.3001.25776 (Windows Server 2003). Works on 1.6.3047.37036 (Windows Server 2003).

Obviously not a big deal, but customers wonder.

Can you say a word about the structure of the version number and how it relates to the download file number?

Thanks!
