I am using Logicity 1.6 & 1.7
I am specifying the following:
under Action Tab:
Action: Save
File Format: PDF
Destination: C:\....
File Name: %CURRENT_DATE%.PDF
The RRD runs fine but instead it is writing the file as %CURRENT_DATE%.pdf instead of the current date
Any Thought ?
Thank you

I'm seeing this same behavior in 1.8 which I just purchased yesterday. I'd appreciate it if we could get a response to this question from 2014. If it's not possible to use this feature with a scheduled report run, Logicity needs to do a better job of telling potential buyers of the pro version what limitations there are with runtime variables...

Starting to feel some serious buyers remorse seeing this question from 3 years ago with no replies.

Sorry! Our developers do monitor the forum, so we're usually on it in terms of answering questions but generally the forum is for support for free version users as pro version users have access to our regular support. In terms of the issue, usually that is caused because Logicity is not registered as a pro version on the computer. The key code needs to be added into the Register Logicity application.

Thanks!
Brian

Strange, the support page has a big banner on it saying Pro customers no longer get free support as of December 2016:

From the support page here: www.logicitysuite.com/logicity-pro/support.html

"As of December 1, 2016, we are no longer including any free support for Logicity Professional users. We are pleased to offer paid priority support incidents to our professional users."

I reading that to mean I'm welcome to spend greater than the price of the software to call and ask a question about my use case for the software.

In any case, the software is registered. The issue is still present on scheduled runs of the RRD. If I run it from Solution Builder the Runtime variables show up in the filename.

One more thing to check. Do you have Logicity registered as Pro as the same user that you are scheduling the report from?

Looks like that was it. I had it scheduled as a service account but I registered the software under my own account.

Thanks for the help it's working normally now.
