In v1.8.8.0 when setting up the .rrd file to email a report, I receive the following error message when sending to an email address that is outside of the company.

Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Unable to relay (emailCrystalReport)

If I am sending to someone inside the company it works fine, however, when sending to someone who has say and yahoo.com extension, I receive the error message above? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Joe Ervin

Are you using gmail server's by chance? I had a similar issue that I just resolved using their relay service. If so, I'll do my best to outline the solution.

Best guess is that your outgoing server SMTP requires authentication. Try checking the Authentication checkbox in the Action tab, and entering a valid account username/password.
