Typically when we bring up a crystal report, we hit the refresh button to get new data from the data source. My question is when I create the RRD file and execute it, does it automatically refresh the data on the crystal reports?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a scheduled report that I have been testing with, and it does not look like the data is being updated before it is sent.

I would love to know how/if this is possible.

I experience the same issue - you can manually refresh but when you attempt to automate the process using rrd and email out the report it just shows the same data and no refresh :pinch:

When I run the report via the schedule, it refreshes with current data. However, on larger reports, it quits before it gets all the data. Is there a data size limit on a report?

Hello!
Logicity 1.7 now supports the option to automatically refresh a report, based on the specified time you set it to.
To do this, simply open up your RRD in solution builder, and under the Action tab, which View selected, check "Timed Refresh" and specify how often you want your report to refresh(in seconds).

I hope this helps!
