I have submitted this again as i cant find the 1st one on here.

I inherited logicity setup on a server
I have an intermittent mail sending error which has suddenly started to happen.
I have tried the email setting tool and it only works when run as administrator.

It started with one specific report which runs once per hour. When it fails it stops all the other emails reports from sending until I clear to error message box.

Please can anyone help?

Hi Phil,

Is there an error message when the specific report fails?

Does the failing report have it's own or separate Windows Task? If not, try creating and scheduling a separate RRD with the failing report only from the Logicity Solution Builder opened as the Administrator. And removing the failing report if grouped with other reports via the current scheduled RRD file.

The report is not group with any other report
I have removed all scheduled tasks for this report
So i have run logicity as Administrator and sometimes it works when I press the Execute RRD button and other times it fails and gives the attached error.
Please advise.

So I have come back to this error as it is still happening and seems to be getting worse.

I have used the email setting tester tool and have intermittent success and errors.

I can send on both ports 587 or 25 with SSL\TLS ticked and get intermittent success and errors.

The Error is
"The Server committed a protocol violation The server response was: ."

I took over from another IT Manager, so would it be possible to send me in the right direction to download the required install files so that I can uninstall and reinstall logicity ?

Thank for your help Keith.

I downloaded the latest email tester and all testes worked perfectly.

So, I downloaded the latest version of Logicity and ran setup without uninstalling the old version.
It seems to have install and updated to the latest version.

I have done some testing and its looking promising so far.
I will report back once i am certain that everything is working again.
