Hello, I am receiving an error when I am executing an RRD file on the desktop. I installed both Logicity 1.7 and 1.8, both of them gave me the same error when executing the RRD file. The computer specs are below

System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Memory: 3.40 GB of RAM

.Net 3.5 installed

I have installed and uninstalled and after each install or uninstall I rebooted the computer - still get error message.
I initially installed V1.7 with the SAP Runtime Engine and got the error message (prior to installing Crystal Reports 2008) - got error message.
Installed Crystal Reports 2008 to ensure that the issue was not with the report. The report runs correctly.
Uninstalled again and re installed only Logicity (without the runtime and got several errors).
Uninstalled Logicity and re installed both the runtime engine and Logicity - error message popped up again.
Uninstalled and re installed V1.8 - still got the error message.

Help please!!

Thanks.

Most important question, obviously... what is the error message?

Thanks,

Andrew

Two questions...

1. Does this machine have a C: drive, and is the OS installed there?
2. Does the user account under which the report is being run have read/write access to the Windows temp directory?

Also... do you have the report template open in the background? I get that error if the file is locked due to being edited elsewhere.

Thanks,

Andrew

The machine has a E drive which the OS is installed on and the user has administrative rights.

If you Google these error messages along with the words "crystal reports", you'll find quite a few instances relating to the absence of a C: drive, which is why I asked. I wasn't able to get much out of those search results myself, as I'm not having this problem, but you might find something useful there.
