Hello, I mistakenly reinstalled Crystal reports and now logicity doesnt work when I try to generate my reports. I have uninstalled Crystal reports and made sure the .rpt files are being associated with Logicity but no joy. Anyone any clues?

Can you be more specific as to what you mean by "Logicity doesn't work"?

Hi reports are still being opened by Crystal reports for some reason. Do I need to reinstall Logicity to ensure that the .rpt files open with Logicity? Is there any file associations that I need to look at to ensure that Logicity opens the .rpt files? Is there any other file extensions besides .rpt for me to associate logicity too besides .rpt files?

Can you right-click one of the RPT files and select Open With? That will let you set the default application for that file type.

RRD files should open with Logicity Solution Builder.

You may also need to re-install Logicity and when you install click the checkbox to install the Crystal Reports Runtime. Depending on what version of Crystal you installed, Logicity can have issues with the runtime included with Crystal. But it should be resolved if you reinstall and make sure that you check to install the Crystal runtime.

I am getting this error after selcting the .rpt file to open with Logicity. does this mean I have to reinstall it?
