Hello,
Recently started experiencing a problem with a single user.
When he launches any previously working reports, the Logicity (v1.6) viewer launches ok, then
he hits refresh to run the report.
He gets the normal Database Login prompt (we're pulling from SQL) but
the Database field is empty and greyed out. (see attached pic)

The Server name is populated correctly, and we can enter Logon ID and password. but the
Database filed is blank and greyed out with no way to change it.

This doesn't happen to other users who all have the same permissions to the .rpt files.
Anyone have an idea where to start with this one?

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Hello Ed,

I would confirm the user has access to an ODBC matching the one used in the report. And/or if no other user uses the same PC having the issue, compare the ODBC to another working PC.

Thank you,
Keith

I was having this problem with certain reports too. Mostly on PCs that I upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7.

Finally fixed it on mine last week. Open the Crystal Report, go to Database, Set DataSource Location. Check the provider. I changed mine to the one on the picture and it works now on every version I have.
