Using Crystal Reports 2008. When running a few reports not all of them, we enter the parameters and the report process no errors but returns no data.
Can run a report using the same tables and the report return data.

Hi,
When you open the reports using a full version of Crystal Reports you do get records or you do not?
Thanks!
Matt

Matt,

If I run the reports in Crystal (full version) the data renders. It only under the Logicity that no data appears.

Have you noticed that some parameter values work and others don't. I have seen where a user will have used a special character in the parameter and this prevents it from working. Are you a Pro user? Thanks!

The parameters are set to numeric
This is my first time using Logicity . thought this would help us have uses just running reports. Not having to supply a full crystal license
Not a Pro user, free version

Could you open the RRD file in Notepad and copy/paste the report line into this thread so we can take a look at it? Maybe we'll catch something.

Looks like Logicity does not allow uses of views. I changed the views to the actual tables and the report now runs correctly.

I don't believe that's true. I have a number of reports running via Logicity that use views. It's good to hear you got it working, but I don't think that was it. Perhaps the account under which Logicity is running the report doesn't have permissions to those views?
