In Crystal Reports 2011 there is a limit to the number of rows returned from a dynamic parameter drop down prompt. I work for a retail company and we deal with over 1300 different Brands. I would like the buyers to be able to choose a Brand when running a report.
I found a registry hack that will allow the limit to be increased.
1. Create a registry key HKEY_HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Crystal Reports\DatabaseOptions\LOV.
2. Add a string value “MaxRowsetRecords” and set the value to the maximum number of values that you desire for your report.
Unfortunately if I run the report from Logicity Solution Builder 1.8.9 I hit the 1000 row limit. Is there a way to increase the limit? Does the Pro version have the same limit?
