I have a report which contains text records of variable length up to approx 300 characters. I cant change the report as its used to input into the DHL shipping system.

The report views OK in solution builder but when set to save as text, each record is truncated to 212 characters per line.

Any way around this?

Did you try to change the page lay-out to landscape mode and extend the textfield? I recognize this kind of problems when exporting to TXT.
Also ... check your TXTexport settings in CR. Change the Characters per inch to 16.

If it's not working, could you show the report?

I have tried every format setting, 16 CPI, landscape etc.

The settings only affect text export in CR itself. This works. None of the settings make any difference when exporting to text using Logicity.

Could you attach the CR to this topic? Because i'm certain that page lay-out settings could mess up your export. (Truncated lines when output tot text from Logicity)

Clicking "add file" and selecting file then "insert" only adds a tag into the post, the file is not uploaded.

Wait I just found this:

This might do the trick but I will have to buy the Pro version. No problem with this at all, provided it does work. I can try checking with Logicity as to whether I can get a refund if it does not work but unfortunately I have emailed them before on this issue and no reply. If they had read my email I am sure they would have replied with this fix.
